What Should You Know About Contacts?

You should not wear contacts if you have an eye infection or inflammation (redness & swelling), eye disease, eye injury, or certain allergic conditions. If you wear contact lenses, it is important to have annual eye examinations and regular follow-up appointments with your doctor every 3-6 months to check the health of your eye. At Stein Optometric Center, all routine follow-up checks on contacts are complimentary between your annual eye examinations. In addition, if you experience any irritation, inflammation, or swelling, call Stein Optometric and ask to schedule a same-day appointment.
