Kerry Assil, M.D.
Dr. Kerry Assil is a world-renowned expert in refractive surgery. He has invented and pioneered several surgical procedures, including the Intrastromal Corneal Ring (ICR), combined technique RK, Phakic IOL, and myopic and hyperoptic LASIK. He has been featured on all major local and national news stations. He has the distinction of having taught his procedures to thousands of eye surgeons from all over the world. Dr. Assil has authored more than one hundred textbooks, textbook chapters and articles, and has lectured worldwide, including at such prestigious universities as Harvard, John Hopkins, and Tokyo University. Dr. Assil is the Medical Director and CEO of the Assil Eye Institute in Beverly Hills, California.
Robert Maloney, M.D.
Dr. Robert Maloney was voted one of America's Top 10 Vision Correction Specialists in a nationwide survey of eye surgeons conducted by Ophthalmology Times magazine. He was chosen as one of Castle Connolly Medical's Best Doctors in America, an honor bestowed upon less than 1% of the nation's doctors. He has personally performed more than 30,000 LASIK surgeries. A Rhodes Scholar who trained at Harvard University, Oxford University, and Johns Hopkins Hospital, he was awarded the Senior Achievement Award of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Alan Berg, M.D.
Dr. Alan Berg a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, has been a pioneer in refractive surgery, beginning with Radial Keratotomy (RK), for the last 25 years. He now specializes in laser vision correction and refractive lens implant surgery. Dr. Berg has performed over 20,000 LASIK procedures. He has performed thousands of cataract IOL surgeries and now utilizes advanced IOL technology including Multifocal/Accommodating Implants for the correction of presbyopia. Dr. Berg has been selected as one of the "Best Doctors in America" in 2005-06
Robert Feinfeld, M.D.
Dr. Robert Feinfield specializes in cataract surgery with multifocal and toric intraocular lenses, laser refractive surgery and cosmetic eyelid surgery. He is a board certified ophthalmologist known for his expertise in intricate intraocular procedures, as well as reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid plastic surgery. Dr. Feinfield has pioneered improvements in cataract surgery and intraocular lens (IOC) technology, using the most advanced monofocal, multifocal and toric lenses, custom chosen for each patient.
Wendell Wong, M.D.
Dr. Wendell Wong has specialized in refractive and cataract implant surgery for over 25 years. He has performed over 50,000 procedures, including over 26,000 LASIK procedures. Based in Torrance, Dr. Wong was the first surgeon in the South Bay to perform LASIK, PRK, LTK, RK, AK, and ALK. Fellow surgeons from around the world have spent time with Dr. Wong to learn from him and to study his techniques.
